About this item

  • Large Capacity, Low Profile Casting Reel – Designed for Competition; Engineered for the Win! The Kapstan Elite Size 300 casting reel is the perfect baitcast reel for additional line capacity for long casts, bigger baits and bigger fish. Its wide body design holds 230+ yards of 14 lb mono or KastKing 50 lb KastPro braid fishing line while still providing a comfortable, low profile design that is perfect for salmon, steelhead, muskie, pike, catfish or bass.
  • Power and Control– KastKing Kapstan Elite 300 baitcasting reels are powerful! The triple disc carbon drag system delivers over 35 lbs of fish stopping drag to handle the largest freshwater fish you will target. It's also the perfect Inshore saltwater baitcasting reel for striped bass, red fish, snook and much more. The Kapstan Elite 300 features a wide (5.1 inches), aluminum handle with large oversized, comfortable EVA grips for plenty of leverage on big fish.
  • Tournament Proven Components – Kapstan Elite baitcasting reels are pro fishing tournament ready baitcaster reels loaded with high-end components. Kapstan features manganese brass main and pinion gears and stainless-steel main shaft for durability, smoothness and low noise. The Kapstan baitcasting reel is available in right- or left-hand retrieve with a 5.4:1 gear ratio that delivers incredible power and torque when fighting large fish, trolling deep diving baits, or casting heavy jigging lures.
  • Ultra-smooth & Reliable – The KastKing Kapstan Elite uses 8 MaxiDur double-shielded, stainless-steel ball bearings plus an instant anti-reverse bearing for a total of 8+1 BB. The spool tensioning nut has click adjustments for accurate control and it won't back off. Kapstan baitcaster reels use a reliable and proven centrifugal braking system that eliminates frustrating overruns even when casting heavy baits. Kapstan has an on/off switch for the audible spool clicker when that feature is needed.
  • Loaded with Technology – KastKing Kapstan Elite 300 baitcasting reel features a braid-ready aluminum spool that eliminates adding mono backing before filling your reel with braided line. There's also a line indicator on the palm side of the reel, so you never forget what lb. test line you have on your reel. Its centrifugal braking system is easily accessed or changed through the palm side cover by the innovative Ergo-Twist Opening System but without worrying that it will open accidentally.
