I was studying on the fish in the pond n realize tat the water level affect the biting rate . Tonight jus after the rain i went there wit my buddy n the water level was high. Reach there make a quick setup Rod- shakespeare contender, Reel-Daiwa SS 700 loaded wit 20lbs fireline . 25lbs dupont leader with size 1 mustad hook. Bait- bread, fish, liver, etc.. most of my favourite will be liver which is very productive at night.
The game begin with two hour fishing. For the first hour was targeting surface using float with liver. Looks like i'm not in the luck for using float tat night. Therefore change to bottom, once again liver will be my bait. Suprisingly first cast strike wit a total rod bend. Pick up my rod n give tat bugger a hard one , feel it n i know this is a big cat . Get prepare n fight for about 30 - 40 min. Finally the fish was land , n was so eager for me to take a photo wit the big cat jus alone. Reason was because the staff have to maintain the health of the biggie there n whenever u caught a really big wan they will hold the fish for u for photo taking.
Fishing there for quite some time i've learned how the staff manage those fishes n then i request to carry the fish on my own for photo taking. This is heavy... enjoy the pic kaki.
