No they dun, but they are very active when it's on the palm.... crawling around. Strangely, when they are in the crabitat.... the dun really move much.

Let me help a little....

Brought mine from Petmart
Crab : $8/- per crab, regardless of size.
Tank : $15/- (medium size), $18/- (large size) .. price can neg.
Sand : $5/- per pack
Salt : $2/- per pkt
Food : $3/- per pkt
Water : Mineral Water (cannot use tap water due to chlorine)
Empty shell: $1/- for natural shell, $8-9/- for painted shell

With the above, it'll get you started.
